Our amazing new veterinary clinic which opened in 2019 is run by vets Aoife McCormack and Tim Garran and their dog Reilly, who thinks he is the practice manager!

At All Paws we are passionate about our jobs and are proud to provide the best veterinary service in Limerick! We understand that your pets are like family to you and we are here to keep them fit and healthy.

We provide everything you and your pet needs including vaccinations, flea, worming, microchips, pet passports, neutering, surgeries, x-rays, blood test and referral surgeries.

Dr. Aoife McCormack

MVB BSAVA PGCERT SAS MRCVS

Aoife is a Limerick native. She went to school in Laurel Hill Colaiste FCJ. She spent 5 years studying in UCD, Dublin to become a veterinary surgeon graduating in 2009.
She worked for 1 year as an intern at one of the biggest Small Animal referral centres in Europe – Davies Veterinary Specialists in the U.K.
She then worked for several years at the PDSA (one of the UK’s biggest Small Animal Veterinary charities). She worked her way up from veterinary surgeon to being the Senior Veterinary Surgeon where she managed a 30 team Hospital. She has helped train other vets in Small Animal Surgery at the PDSA.
She spent 3 years completing her postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery. This is an extra qualification on top of being a vet where she can perform complicated surgeries such as fracture repairs and airway surgery.
Aoife and her husband moved back to Ireland in 2017 and where they have worked in lots of different practices around Ireland before deciding to set up their own clinic.
Aoife enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting to know Limerick again and travelling.

Dr. Aoife McCormack

Dr. Tim Garran

Tim originally comes from Australia but has lived in many different places as a kid. He moved to the UK in 2000 to study veterinary medicine at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2005.

After qualifying he worked in charities in Asia and then came back to he UK to work in a UK based charity the PDSA where he met his now wife Aoife! Tim has managed range of vet clinics in the UK, both private and charity.

He gained his Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2012. This is an extra 3 year long qualification on top of being a normal vet where Tim can perform complicated surgeries such as fracture repairs and advanced cruciate disease repairs.

Tim sometimes helps other clinics with complex surgeries, but as of April 2020, he has joined Allpaws fulltime!

Tim enjoys watching Munster Rugby matches, cooking and keeping our dog Reilly well walked!

Tim can’t wait to greet you at the clinic in the near future!

Dr. Elizabeth Gray

Liz is a vet from Limerick who graduated from UCD in 2014.

After graduation she completed a small animal internship in a referral hospital in Canada. She has since worked in the UK and Dublin before returning home. She spent three years completing a postgraduate certificate in small animal medicine which has provided her with additional training in working up complicated medical cases.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her red setter, Fiadh, and little terrier, Fanta. Liz can’t wait to meet the All Paws patients and clients!

Phyl Divilly

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Phyl is our registered Veterinary Nurse. She graduated from St. John’s College, Cork in 2012. She has a special interest in surgical nursing and looks after our inpatients before, during and after surgery.

Outside of work Phyl’s interests include Muster Rugby, music & walking her Golden Retriever Robyn.
