Our Emergency service is available 24/7 365 days a year after opening hours.
After opening hours please call (061) 275 616 for information on how to access emergency care for your pet(s).
We use the services of a dedicated out of hours service called Limerick Night Vets (like Shannon Doc!) We feel this will provide the best access to emergency care should your pet(s) ever need it. You are always welcome to email us, or contact us on facebook messenger out of office hours, and we will do our best to get you the advice you need.
There is an emergency out of hours fee charged on top of a consultation fee payable to Limerick Night Vets at the time of services received. Treatments and medications are not included in this. You will meet the dedicated out of hours emergency vet at Limerick Night Vets Clinic.
If your pet needs veterinary care, don’t delay 3 days or until 9pm to call, come straight to us during normal opening hours. The earlier we identify what is going on the better!

What do we consider an emergency for a pet:
Has been hit be a car
- Has been poisoned
- Is Bleeding
- Is having a seizure
- Is having trouble urinating
- Is finding it difficult to breathe
- Is finding it difficult to give birth
- Is vomiting excessively for more than a day
- Is having diarrhoea for more than a day
